Math 100 counts for 3 units of elective credit, and will affect your GPA as such. The most important thing you should get out of Math 100 is placement into your first required math class for your major. 

  • If you did not place, you can re-take the class next semester, or try taking the placement test at the Testing Center. They can be contacted at
  • If you did place, either by taking the placement exam at the Testing Office or by the Math 100 final, yet you still failed the Math 100 class, you may consider retaking the course for GRO (grade replacement opportunity) during the next semester.
