Math 100 counts for 3 units of elective credit, and will affect your GPA as such. The most important thing you should get out of Math 100 is placement into your first required math class for your major.
- If you did not place into your next math class, you can re-take Math 100 next semester and continue improving your math skills. Or you can take the placement test. Placement testing instructions can be found here.
- If you did place into your next math class, either by taking the placement exam or by the Math 100 final, yet you received an E in Math 100, you may consider retaking Math 100 for GRO (grade replacement opportunity) during the next semester. For details about GRO (including limitations and policies), see https://www.registrar.arizona.edu/academics/grade-replacement-opportunity-gro.
