Math 100AX is a 2-unit course, but your grade will not be factored into your GPA calculation. The most important thing you should get out of Math 100AX is placement into Math 100. If you did not place, you can re-take the class next semester, or try taking the placement test at the testing center. They can be contacted at http://testing.arizona.edu/. If you did place, either by taking the placement exam at the Testing Office or by the Math 100AX final, yet you still failed the Math 100AX class, you should move on to Math 100 and learn from your mistakes in Math 100AX. If you have the placement, there is no reason to re-take Math 100AX.
